1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Soullayer ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.
2. The Service
Soullayer provides a platform for creating, managing, and distributing a portable AI identity profile. This includes a web application, browser extension, and API.
We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other AI platform provider.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Keep your credentials secure.
- One person per account.
- Provide accurate information.
4. Your data
You own the data you put into Soullayer. We don't claim intellectual property rights over your profile. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.

5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Reverse-engineer the Service (except as permitted by law).
- Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service.
- Create content designed to deceive or harm others.
6. Plans and billing
- Free plan: No cost, with feature limitations.
- Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually via Stripe (USD).
- Trials: 14-day Pro trial, no credit card required.
- Upgrades: Immediate, prorated.
- Downgrades: End of billing period. Excess features disabled, not deleted.
- Refunds: Full refund within 14 days of first paid cycle.
- Price changes: 30 days' notice.
7. Browser extension
The extension operates locally. By installing it, you grant permission to read/modify pages on supported AI platforms, store auth tokens locally, and communicate with Soullayer servers.
The extension does not access other websites or collect browsing history.
8. Availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 100% availability.
9. Intellectual property
The Soullayer software and branding are our intellectual property. Open-source components follow their respective licenses.
10. Limitation of liability
Soullayer is provided "as is." Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
- By you: Delete your account anytime. Data removed within 30 days.
- By us: We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
12. Changes
Material changes communicated via email at least 30 days in advance.
13. Governing law
State of Delaware, United States.
